The Constantia town board holds a working meeting most first Mondays of the month at 9:00 a.m. at the town hall. They hold their regular meeting on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.
TOWN OF CONSTANTIA METAL PICKUP & DUMPSTERS:
The Town of Constantia will, once again, supply dumpsters for use by residents of the Town to assist in the clean – up of private properties.
The Town will NOT be picking up metal at the roadside this year. Residents can bring metal to either dumpster locations.
Dumpsters will be available at the Highway Garage on Railroad Street in Bernhards Bay and at the Town Hall on Frederick Street in the hamlet of Constantia. The dumpsters will be available on May 6th – 8th, from 7:30 to 5:00. Residents may have to verify their place of residence using proper identification.
Hazardous waste, garbage, and tires will not be accepted.

AWARD: The Town of Constantia received a $4.6M grant from the NYS Water Quality Improvements Program announced yesterday! Congratulations to the Town and Sewer District users for this great accomplishment! With the receipt of this grant, the project is fully funded and the resulting estimated first year user cost is $850! Without the WQIP grant, the user cost was estimated at $976.
In total, funding for the $39M project consists of:
- $5M NYS WIIA Grant
- $4.6M NYSDEC WQIP Grant
- $3M USDA RD Grant
- $20M NYSEFC Hardship interest free loan
- $6.4M USDA RD poverty rate loan (1.125% interest)
